We were sad to learn of Bert's passing. He was such a kindly, gentle soul, and a familiar sight at DSU with a vase of flowers in his hand. May you find comfort in your faith and in the thoughts and prayers of many who care for you.

Our sincere sympathy. I remember Bert as my boss in the bookkeeper department at the bank many years ago. Your family had purchased the Sample Hour Flower when we got married in 1966. Someone put 10:30 pm for our wedding. Bert hurried and made flowers up as our wedding Mass was over. I enjoyed working with Bert. Thoughts and prayers.

You guys have my deepest sympathies right now. I'm always going to remember all of the fun times that I had with Bert. All of the times when he used to stop into the store to get a pop and I would always rib him a little bit and ask him: "Hey Bert, where's Ernie?". I'm really going to miss him. He was just a kid at heart.
