Max Schrader Obituary

Max Schrader, 71, former Madison resident, died on Sept. 20, 2018 in Milwaukee, WI. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the Ellsworth Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Chester. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Saturday.

Max was born on Aug. 28, 1947 to Emert and Helen (Weber) Schrader. He graduated from Madison High School in 1965. He attended Dakota State University and graduated in 1969. Max taught school in Kenosha, WI for 34 years. Max was an avid traveler. He enjoyed reading and scuba diving.

Survivors include his mother, Helen Schrader of Sioux Falls; two sisters, Sharla (David) Scholl of Sioux Falls, and Janene (Ray) Thomas of Cedarburg, WI; brother, Dennis (Patricia) of Sioux Falls; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Emert Schrader in 1995.
