Jennifer L. Meehan

Jennifer Lynn Rezac-Meehan, age 48, of Madison, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 27, 2022, after a valiant battle with Parkinsons Disease. Per her request, no services will be held.

Jennifer was born on December 12, 1973, to Henry and Susan Rezac in Richmond, VA. After attending school in Marietta, GA, she moved to Iowa and later attended DSU.

Jennifer met her husband David Meehan Jr. while attending college at DSU. They married on November 12, 1998. Jennifer will be remembered by family and friends for her kind heart and caring ways. She loved her nieces and nephews deeply. Her five step children were the light of her life. She loved all kids.

Jennifer is survived by her brothers Henry (Lori) Rezac of Vermillion, their son Kristain Reynolds and his family of Hanford, CA, Charles Rezac of Calhoun, GA, and Derek (Jody) Rezac and their son Cole of Vermillion; her five step children, David III, Joseph, Kari, Jennifer, and Legion Meehan all of Madison; a special friend Karissa Severson of Madison; her parents in-law, David Sr. (Letha) Meehan of Fallon, NV, sister-in-law Geri (David) Meehan-Lynn of Sioux Falls; niece and nephew Sierra and Phoenix of Sioux Falls; Ruth Reiser of Minden, NV, and one brother-in-law Howard Meehan of Montrose.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Jr.; her parents; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
