Kay Francis Britt

Kay Britt, age 41, of Madison, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, at her home in Madison. Inurnment will be at a later date at Prairie Flower Cemetery, Fedora, SD.

Kay Francis North was born Dec. 12, 1981, at DeSmet, SD, to Daniel and Rosemary (Otto) North.  She graduated in 2001 from Howard High School and married Soloman (Gene) Britt in 2005. She was currently working at PPD in Madison. 

Survivors include her husband Gene and 2 sons Dakota and Daniel, all of Madison; her father Daniel of Canova; 3 sisters - Jamie (Josh) Magnuson of Mitchell, Sara (Mike) Berscheid of Artesian, Bobby (Corey) North of Sioux Falls; 2 brothers - Alex and John North of Canova; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Rosemary Mogler and mother-in-law, Julia Edwards; both sets of grandparents - Darwin and Anna North, Jim and Sarah Otto, and some aunts, uncles and cousins.
