Wayne Pederson

Wayne Carlos Pederson, age 86, of Tyler, MN, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at his residence. He had a massive heart attack while shoveling snow in his driveway. He was in recovery from a short illness prior. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Ellsworth Funeral Home in Madison. Inurnment will be held at a later date. 

Wayne was born to Arthur and Clara Pederson on April 28, 1935. He lived in Madison for much of his earlier life and worked at John Morrell. Later, he farmed and did carpenter work in rural Ramona and surrounding towns. Wayne’s great saying was, “Memories”. He was married to Marjorie Howe on August 14, 1957. They were married for 26 years and had three children. In 1988, Wayne married Arlene Anderson in Tyler, Minnesota.

Wayne is survived by his children, Dawn Renee Black of Fulton, MO, and Scottie Jo of MT; siblings Harvey Pederson of Madison, Paul Pederson of Sioux Falls, and Marlene (Johannsen) of Madison; grandchildren, Adrienne, Alexandra and Jazzmen; and two great-grandchildren, Bruce and Josephine; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter Starla Jo.
